General Luna Public Market

Market · General Luna, Siargao

The town palengke where fishermen land luminous reef fish, crabs and Siargao tuna at dawn and farmers from nearby barangays pile up dragon fruit, avocados and leafy greens. It's the cheapest place on the tourist strip to buy fresh seafood and produce, and vendors will clean your fish for you - some will even grill it on the spot.

Good to know: Go between 6am and 10am for the best selection; bring cash in small bills. A newly built community market building has recently upgraded the facilities.

ShoppingGrocery General Luna₱₱

The biggest supermarket in General Luna proper and the default stock-up stop for surfers and long-stayers: dry goods, snacks, drinks, soy milk and household essentials without the trip to Dapa. Selection is broader than the sari-sari stores, though fresh produce is still better bought at the public market.
