What reviewers keep saying

  • Widely called the best board selection on the island, with quality equipment kept in good shape
  • Staff praised as knowledgeable and honest, helping pick the right board without upselling
  • Flexible rental system lets you swap to a different board anytime
  • A few complaints about damage charges on rentals and pricey swimsuits

Siargao's best-known surf shop, stocking a huge selection of surfboards, wax, leashes, swimwear and surf accessories alongside its famous rental fleet of 100+ boards. You can buy gear outright or rent and swap boards as often as you like, and staff are known for honestly matching boards to your skill level and pointing you to the right breaks.

Good to know: Located in Barangay 5 next to Kermit; open roughly 8am-9pm daily. Inspect and photograph rental boards before taking them out to avoid disputes over dings.

The town palengke where fishermen land luminous reef fish, crabs and Siargao tuna at dawn and farmers from nearby barangays pile up dragon fruit, avocados and leafy greens. It's the cheapest place on the tourist strip to buy fresh seafood and produce, and vendors will clean your fish for you - some will even grill it on the spot.

ShoppingNight market General Luna

As the sun goes down, General Luna's night market becomes the island's street-food hub, with rows of stalls grilling meats and fresh seafood and selling Filipino snacks like banana cue alongside cheap rice meals and desserts. TAG Grocery

ShoppingGrocery General Luna₱₱

The biggest supermarket in General Luna proper and the default stock-up stop for surfers and long-stayers: dry goods, snacks, drinks, soy milk and household essentials without the trip to Dapa. Selection is broader than the sari-sari stores, though fresh produce is still better bought at the public market.
